FOLEY

"Foley is the recording of everyday sound effects. e.g. Doors opening, footsteps, debris and many more. These sounds effects are later syncronized to film/video to enhance the viewers listening experience. Foley gets it's name from Jack Foley a pioneering sound effects artist."

There are approximately 2240 Foley sound effects (at the time of writing) Within this library. Some of the examples include.

  • Debris (Pebbles, Stones, Ice, Leaves, Dust)
  • Fabric Movement (Flags, Clothing, Bags)

    • Other (metal mechanisms, Clicks, Gas sprays, Bamboo snaps)
